San Patricio, Calle O'Reilly, Old Havana

Finally, for this gargantuan blogging release, in honour of the great patron saint of the Irish whose name I bear in the middle of my monicker, a picture of the Cafe O'Reilly and of the cathdral of havana just down the street. I am headed there now to drink to his eternal "craic" while all you New Yorkers are out marching up Fifth Avenue to celebrate him and the gift of being of Ireland. Of course, I have a particular gratitude to express about being Irish, because I wouldn't be here without the substantiation of my Irish passport, my passe par tout into a world forbidden to others of my condition as mere Americans.
Hail, glorious St. Patrick! We honor thy name,
Tho' Erin may claim thee, the world knows thy fame.
The faith of our fathers is our treasure too,
How holy the thought, that they learned it from you.
