Abamboo hut in a graden by the Ganges where I bathe every morning.
There was a hindu temple there too, with the evening puja of fire by the sacred waters.
The were preparing and fasting for the nine days of Navratri,
which ended in the Durga Puja celbrations I saw in Varanasi on Sunday and last night on my way from the airport to the YMCA.
